Associate Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator
Amanda Knight joined the Barry University athletic department staff in 2014 as the assistant director of athletics for compliance and special events. At Barry, Knight oversees NCAA Compliance, advises the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and is an adjunct professor for the University’s First-Year Experience course. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Science in intercollegiate Athletic Administration from California University of Pennsylvania. Knight is 2013 graduate of NACWAA’s (Women Leaders in College Sports) Institute for Administrative Advancement, a 2014 graduate of the NCAA’s Leadership Institute, a 2016 and 2017 Student-Athlete Leadership Forum Facilitator, a member of NAAC, MOAA, Women Leaders in College Sports and Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity.
