Chelsea Scott

A native of Fort Washington, Maryland, Chelsea is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of St. John’s University. At St. John’s, Chelsea majored in Communications, while competing as a track & field student-athlete. Scott is currently working on her Master’s in Sports Industry Management at Georgetown University. Aside from academics and athletics, Chelsea is the CEO of IRocFitness. IRocFitness is a grant program used to promote health and fitness for the youth. Through this program, she primarily serves minority children in their pre-teens.

Chelsea firmly believes that life is a marathon and you cannot focus on the people beside you. As a young African-American woman, Chelsea recognizes that her marathon will be difficult. She has experienced doors opened and closed along her journey, however, she has the mindset of taking what some may consider losses, as lessons.

Through hard work and dedication, Chelsea hopes to work in athletic marketing and player representation. Her inclination of player representation is due to a passion of preparing players for life after sports. As a former student-athlete, she can relate to how student-athletes get caught up in their identity in athletics. She would like to mitigate that paradigm by working with athletes at the collegiate level. Chelsea, at the Winning Edge Game Changing Retreat, is looking forward to growing and learning.
