Trustee Professor of Political Science and Health Policy
Donna Shalala serves as Trustee Professor of Political Science and Health Policy at the University of Miami. She has served as President of the Clinton Foundation, President of the University of Miami, President of Hunter College, and Chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. President Clinton nominated her as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) in 1993, where she served for eight years. In 2008 President Bush presented her with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian award.
