HALEY WOODARD, OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY
Raised an Oklahoma Sooner fan in Norman, Haley Woodard ditched her love for the crimson and cream to play soccer at Oklahoma State University. As a three-year letterman, Haley began to make a name for herself in 2016 when she made the Big 12 All-Rookie Team. In 2017, Haley was the Big 12’s leading scorer with eight goals earning All-Big 12 First Team and Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year honors. That same year, she led her team to the second round of the NCAA tournament, was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-South Region First Team, and the United Soccer Coaches All-America Third Team. Haley was also named to the 2017 All-Big 12 Academic Second Team and made academic honorable mention at OSU in 2016 and 2017.
Off the field, Haley averages a 3.0 GPA and studies sports media, with a minor in marketing. She hopes to become a sports analyst and sideline reporter. Haley attends Life.Church where she serves as a Life.Church LifeKids team member and is involved in a life group. In 2017, she was the assistant director for Oklahoma State’s Nike N7 Field Day and was the 2016-17 social media chair for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee [SAAC] at OSU. Haley also participates in other SAAC volunteer activities annually, such as OSU’s Thanksgiving Food Drive, C4K (Cleats for Kids), OSU’s Nike N7 Field Day, Stillwater Big Brothers/Big Sisters Bingo Nights, OSU Coaches vs. Cancer and the OSU Posse Auction. During the holidays she serves food at the Red Andrews dinners in downtown Oklahoma City, and currently Haley is consulting with SAAC to create her school’s own version of The ESPYS.
