Meredith Mitchell joined the Georgia Lady Bulldogs' staff as director of basketball operations in August 2013

Mitchell was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter for the Lady Bulldogs from 2008-12. She was voted to the SEC's All-Defensive team by league coaches as a junior and was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll during each of her four seasons. After serving primarily as a reserve as a freshman, she started 89 of 99 games played in her final three seasons in Athens, completing her career with 880 points, 537 rebounds, 241 assists and 174 steals. She ranked among SEC individual leaders in steals as both a junior and senior and was named SEC Player of the Week on Feb. 27, 2012, after averaging 15.0 points, 5.0 assists and 4.0 steals in wins over Ole Miss and LSU in her final two games at Stegeman Coliseum.

Mitchell received her bachelor's degree in Management from UGA's Terry College of Business midway through her senior season in December 2011 and started master's classes in her final semester of eligibility. She secured her master's in Sport Management from UGA in August 2013.
