Executive Director

Rich Kenah is the Executive Director at Atlanta Track Club,  a mission-focused, non-profit organization that operates more than 30 events and programs annually including the world’s largest 10K, the AJC Peachtree Road Race  -- every year on the fourth of July. With more than 30,000 members, Atlanta Track Club is the 2nd largest running organization in the United States

Prior to taking the reigns of the Track Club, Rich was Vice President of Events and Marketing for Global Athletics and Marketing, Inc., a Boston-based sports marketing and management firm, an industry leader in managing Olympic athletes and events.  He also was Marketing Manager for Falk Associates Management Enterprises, a Washington, DC-based sports-marketing firm specializing in representation of NBA athletes including Michael Jordan and Patrick Ewing.

Rich participated in professional track and field for almost a decade years, specializing in the 800 meter distance, in which he represented the United States in the 2000 Olympics in Australia.  He is a two-time Bronze Medalist in the World Championships, a 1992 NCAA Champion and a Golden West National High School Champion in 1988.

In 2015, Rich was named by Runner’s World Magazine as one of the top 50 most influential leaders in running and among the top 8 in “Maestros” – “organizers of events that amaze and unite us.”  

Rich is a 1992 graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in Business Administration and a focus on International Marketing.
