A native of West Palm Beach, Florida, Bailey is a rising Senior at George Mason University. She currently majors in Communications with a concentration in Media Productions and Criticism, while minoring in Sports Communications. Bailey also competes as a student-athlete on the Patriot’s volleyball team. Academically, Williams has received recognition as a Dean’s List student and Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll student.

As a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Bailey associated herself with a sisterhood committed to the empowerment of communities and other women. This commitment is exemplified through Bailey’s responsibility as a their head volleyball coach. In her role, she is intentional about helping young women grow and excel. Bailey is truly grateful for the coaching opportunity and is mindful of how coaching has helped with her patience. As an African-American woman aspiring to work in sports, she knows that patience is a vital necessity for the arduous road ahead.

Inspired by Maria Taylor and her cousin Jay Williams, Bailey aspires to become a sports broadcaster. Being able to see Maria and Jay in their positions had a profound impact on Bailey’s dreams. Bailey hopes that one day she can be an inspiration to other young African-American boys and girls.
