Jaiden Woodbey

A native of Fontana, California, Jaiden is a rising sophomore at Florida State University. He currently majors in International Affairs, while competing as a student-athlete on the Seminole football team. Academically, Jaiden has received recognition as an All ACC Academic Team selection and a Dean’s List student. Athletically, he received recognition as an ESPN Freshman All American, Devaugh Freshman of the Year and Florida State University Best Male Athlete, a first for a true freshman.

Jaiden recognizes that playing football will only take him so far. He has positioned himself in multiple organizations on campus to develop holistically. Those organizations include the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Unity Council, Amplify, and Reliable Educated Approachable Men. Jaiden’s duties in these organizations include making executive decisions for the operation of the football team, advocating on mental health concerns for athletes, and creating an avenue for students’ voices to be heard on campus.

Jaiden aspires to play in the National Football league, however, if that plan does not work, Jaiden would like to become an Urban Planner. Urban Planners are tasked with resolving detrimental issues facing communities. Jaiden would like the opportunity to positively transform underserved communities and schools. Jaiden is looking forward to growing personally and professionally, as a result of the Winning Edge Game Changing Retreat.
